AL-SALAT

Salat is one of the pillars of Islam and the most fundamental pillar after the words of testimony of faith (Shahadah). The importance of Salat cannot be over-emphasized since it is the first act of worship that will be accounted for in the day of Resurrection. More so, Salat serves as a means of instilling moral values that could safeguard man from indulgence into immoral activities. In this regard,Salat is a determinant of faith, and absence or incorrectness of Salat leads to corruption in faith.
