Wings of Mercy

In this short collection, "Wings of Mercy: 13 Whispers of Faith," I aimed to reflect on the issues youth face when conflicted between dunya (worldly life) and deen (faith). We often see them as conflicting, but I believe it's easier to adopt another notion, a much more nuanced and productive approach that is to take it together, improve both deen and dunya without compromising deen at any cost.The poems in this book are a deep reflection of my personal journey, a testament to the transformative power of knowledge. I Believe any form of beneficial knowledge will bring you closer to Allah. As Abu Ala al-Maududi stated in his book "Towards Understanding Islam":"A Muslim scientist, on the other hand, will behave in an altogether different way. The deeper his insight into the world of science, the stronger will be his faith in God. His head will bow down before Him in gratitude. His feelings will be that since his Master has blessed him with greater power and knowledge, he must exert himself for his own good and for the good of humanity. Instead of arrogance, there will be humility. Instead of power-drunkenness, there will be a strong realization to serve humanity..."
